Best PCP I’ve ever had
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kanakis for years, and she is the best primary care provider I’ve ever had. She has great bedside manner, she listens and never rushes me, and she is extremely knowledgeable. I’ve referred several friends and family members to her for her medical expertise. I highly recommend her!

Dr Kanakas is a great listener. She coordinates my health care so well. It's not an easy position to be in.

Awesome Doctor who truly listens
Dr.Kanakis is a fantastic practitioner who I feel really knows her patients. She is attentive, personable, and smart. Her bedside manner is wonderful. She listens to and understands her patients and take a great deal of time to ensure a comprehensive exam.

My first visit with Dr. Kanakis was quite lengthy. She sat with me as if she had all the time in the world for me. She listened as I went into detail about my current medical issues and answered questions in a way I could understand. She ordered tests based on what I told her and followed up with each one. She referred me to other specialty physicians for further evaluation. Dr. Kanakis has a wonderful bedside manner and replies quickly and personally to emails. Highly recommend.

I found Dr. Kanakis friendly, competent, and attentive. I felt "seen" as a person—never rushed—and left feeling confident I could rely on her in the future. (5 stars on the Uber scale.)

I saw Dr. Kanakis at Lahey Clinic today...maybe it's a different person than previously reviewed...but she was excellent. Patient, caring, and informative. Simple visit, great care.

I agree with the first reviewer. She should lose her license. She makes decisions on treatment without consulting with the patients for data and symptoms. Patient then basically without a physician. She makes strange decisions.

Dr. Kanakis is an incompetent physician who deserves to have her medical licenses revoked. She cannot follow the recommendations of consulting or referring physicians and has a horrible bed side manner. When needing to help patients heal, she does the opposite and inflicts unnecessary hardship on them. She is a danger to patients - avoid at all costs.
