Be prepared to pay $150 and Co-Pay New Policy
I have been receiving care here for over 20 years and I love my provider. But be aware that the CAO Corporate office has implemented a new decision in 2025 to charge all pts a $150 deposit towards their deductible up front and per visit plus your Copay with a 'pay it' or 'no service' ultimatum. CAO has no regard for their provider agreements on discounts, reductions, and amount covered and allowed reflected in the terms of your coverage with an in network provider, nor the savings your insurance negotiated with the provider. I have the accepted BCBS PPO plan and the services I receive here are fully covered before any deductible must be met. Be prepared to be out $150 per visit for awhile until, hopefully you get a timely refund. I say to CAO-MMI Corporate office, Pts still have a credit card bill to pay in 30 days. What is CAO doing with our $$ during that refund period? Earning interest off their pts money? Where is the patient advocacy.
