Pain Management
All of the people who we see at this office are very friendly and courteous. The PA we see for our monthly check up works with us to find the appropriate medicine combinations that help diminish the pain. Even though the waiting room is filled with patients each visit, they work efficiently to move everyone through their appointments.We highly recommend this group of doctors and PAs to anyone looking for pain relief.

I've been a patient with Dr. Katz for 4 years. He and his entire staff have always been kind, caring and willing to always go that extra step to make you feel like the most important patient that they care for. I highly recommend Dr. Katz and his staff to anyone needing pain management care. And a big shout-out for Darrell, nurse practioner, he's one of the best!!! Keep up the good work! This practice has been a godsend for me. In spite of multiple problems with my back that would require fusion if I opted for surgery Dr. Shinkle and staff have been able to keep me mobile with minimal pain for most of the time. Courteous and efficient staff!

I have the most excruciating Pain in my Lower Back and Hips due to degenerate disk disease. when it was 1st recommended I go here I Foo-Foo'ed it away because I don't like to take pain pills and thought that was what it was all about --It's NOT !!--They can actually help you manage your pain and FINALLY I got some relief - I am SO HAPPY that I Finally decided (after my Back doc recommended (again) to give them a try )---I LOVE Dr. Herrick and his team, they help me in ways I didn't think was possible . My appointment was at 7:40 am . I checked in at 7:20 am . They called me to come to a room and talked to me . I left at 7:40. Everyone was very professional and helpful. Thanks to everyone. After I got home they had notified me when my next visit would be and they had already notified for Drug store off when I could pick up my prescription each month.

Helpful pain management long waits
Billing can’t remember to bill secondary insurance ever. Wait times to check out are 3x longer than to see the NP. However they do a good job at helping me with my pain. Would be 5 star if the billing and scheduling clerks would do their jobs efficiently and expeditiously.

Not very likely
Wait times are ridiculous, especially since the visit was to refill prescriptions only and no labs were taken. It should not take 2 hours. Also, my prescriptions were never called in and they don’t give paper copies.
