Christopher W. Flowers, MD is a board-certified and sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Texas Bone & Joint in Denton, Texas. He specializes in the treatment and prevention of sports and non-sports-related injuries to the shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist, knee, and foot and ankle.A fourth-generation physician from Plano, Texas, Dr. Flowers providers sports medicine expertise as a team physician for Ryan High School, Denton High School, and other local High Schools in the surrounding Denton Area. He then entered The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, again graduating with highest honors. He completed his training at U.T. Southwestern affiliated hospitals, finishing the final three months working for The National Health Service in Norwich, England.Dr. Kristoferson has been married for forty years, has four adult children and four grandchildren. They are his greatest achievement. Aviation is his primary hobby. He built and flies an experimental aircraft. He also owns and flies a Lake Renegade Amphibian aircraft. A trip to Alaska is on his bucket list.Dr. Kristoferson has extensive experience in nearly all orthopaedic procedures. He is grateful to have lucked into his perfect career choice!
