Best Dr very compationate
We have been Dr Roufehs patients for 7 yrs we have followed him from Gainesville, Denton, to Plano. He's very caring, has great bedside manners explains everything where you understand. He loves all his patients. He has a sense of humor. I trust this man with my life. All the staff, as well as all the Doctors are professional and caring. Love the telehealth I know when I'm sick I don't want to spread it. I think the telehealth is awesome. My daughter now sees Roufeh and loves him. He's the bomb.

Dr Roufeh saved my life! After being misdiagnosed, I sought a second opinion with Dr. Roufeh. He was so thorough with his initial tests then sent me to get an MRI. The MRI showed a massive tumor in my brain that was just weeks away from ending my life! I will forever be grateful for Dr. Roufeh and his entire team. And to the original doctor ( Dr. Ali Raza Khan) who never examined me and said I was just depressed and needed to exercise more, I say- you need to take a page out of Dr. Roufeh's rule book by, "treat every patient you encounter like they are a part of your own family."

Great family practitioner
I've been a patient with Dr. Ramin Roufeh for over 6 years. He's an incredible physician who cares deeply for his patients and prioritizes connecting with patients on a human level. As a medical professional, I appreciate the level of communication that Dr. Roufeh utilizes to both educate and empower his patients. I feel that Dr. Roufeh does a great job balancing the need for being heard as a patient with addressing the current state of medicine as an industry.

Such an opportunity for families! Dr. Roufeh had such a huge caseload in Denton, it started getting difficult to get in to see him! His move to Willowbend Family Practice is allowing new families to get in to become patients. (It won't last long so - get in while you can!) Dr. Roufeh fixed an on-going issue with my teenage son no doctor could figure out... a multi-symptom problem that was making his life miserable! My son loves him - talks to him in private because he trusts him so much. For me - he is so knowledgable, so wise, and has so much COMMON SENSE. Just love our Dr, Roufeh!!!!

Dr. Ramin Roufeh has been my primary care physician for about a year and a half. My maternal grandmother passed away from breast cancer when I was a kid. As a result I have had annual mammograms since I was 35. I am now 43. Dr. Roufeh was instrumental in assuring the best decisions concerning my healthcare needs. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and as a result of Dr. Roufeh's persistence and holding me to a higher standard of health care, my cancer was caught early at stage 0. I owe so much to Dr. Roufeh. His bedside manner is top notch and he genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Roufeh took immediate action, when I received my diagnosis, to refer me to the best breast surgeon in the Dallas area and has followed up with me on a regular basis. I am blessed to have him and Willow Bend Family Medicine as my primary care providers.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Roufeh?
Dr. Roufeh seems completely disillusioned with the healthcare system. On initial appointment, he tries to be congenial and verbally express that he's different from other doctors, but at the end of the day, the appointments are rushed, he pushes medications without a proper diagnosis, tests, or listening to the whole picture, and glosses over major chronic health concerns that seem like minor details to him. I would appreciate if he showed he was different through actual behavior more than just words. I think he's aware of the absolutely insane limitations put on doctors by insurance and pharmaceutical reimbursements, but does little to counter that or even feign interest in his patients' health. He has a wealth of experience, but that should be used to empower patients with knowledge as opposed to steeping appointments with the attitude that he is tired of his own profession and has career regrets. Actual peoples' lives are affected. I hope this will be taken constructively.

I am a cardiologist who practices in Denton Texas. My patients were so enthusiastic about their care by Dr. Roufeh I decided to visit with him for my general medical needs. Ramin epitomizes everything that is good about medicine including empathy, compassion, professionalism and clinical expertise. I have put the care of my wife and adult children in his hands and have the upmost confidence in him. When he moved his practice from Denton to Plano, we all followed him as patients.

Dr. Roufeh is by far the best physician I've ever had. The guy truly gives a darn. Shame on BS&W for losing this man. He cares, he's engaging and listens. He is very, very good to the patient and extremely knowledgeable. He was my GP in Denton before they closed the clinic (BS&W) but he is sorely missed, and I don't mind putting my name on it.

Very frustrated, went in for a well check that should be covered 100% by insurance. A few weeks later I get a $200 bill in the mail for tests ran that weren't covered by insurance. My husband had a follow up appointment for a dehydrated issue he had over the summer. We tried to cancel the follow up and the lady told us he wouldn't be able to refill his blood pressure meds if he didn't go in. I didn't think much about it being a follow up and not a well check so he went to the appt. A couple weeks later we get a $340 bill!! They ran a bunch of hepatitis tests!! What does that have to do with a follow up from being dehydrated!! I'm so frustrated that they just ran unnecessary tests! Time to find another new Dr.!!
