He then pursued additional training in hip and knee replacement as an Otto Aufranc Fellow at The New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA, an internationally renowned hip and knee replacement center, where he was trained and mentored by some the world's best joint replacement surgeons. Dr. Le has extensive experience in primary joint replacements, complex revision surgery, periprosthetic fractures, and infection management. Graduating from residency, he proceeded to acquire additional training in hand surgery from the Baylor College of Medicine accredited fellowship where he performed well over 500 operations. The training was diverse to say the least and included elective, non emergent hand surgery as well as limb threatening or mangling trauma. Upon graduation he was invited to stay as faculty for which he was hired as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery. It was a productive year clinically (performed about 400 procedures) as well as academically as he literally wrote the chapter on hand surgery which he co-authored in Sabistons Textbook of Surgery 18th edition.

He received his orthopaedic training at Scott & White Hospital and continued with advanced fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at The University of Chicago. During his training, he worked directly under Dr. Daniel Mass, one of the world's leading experts in tendon injury and upper extremity surgery. He returned to the Tomball/Woodlands area after being an associate professor of upper extremity surgery at Scott & White Hospital. There he instructed residents and young surgeons on the latest techniques and trauma care for upper extremity injuries. Throughout his career, he has learned, performed and researched the most advanced, cutting-edge techniques in hand and upper extremity care providing care for several Major League Baseball teams and serving as one of the team physicians for the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks.
