Dr. Brad Boccaccio was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at the University of North Texas in Denton and graduated summa cum laude in 2010. He graduated from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 2015 and then moved to Oklahoma with his wife (and dogs) to pursue his Ob/Gyn residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. Throughout his residency, Dr. Boccaccio received the Resident Teaching Award four consecutive years in a row, won Best Quality Improvement Award, earned his certification on the da Vinci robotic surgical system, and published articles in various peer-reviewed journals. During his final year of training he was named Outstanding MIS Resident and was honored with the Resident Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He was also recognized by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and received the Senior Resident Award for Evidence Based Medicine. He believes in patient-centered, evidence based medicine and works diligently to stay up to date on the most recent developments in the field so that he can act as a resource for his patients. Dr. Boccaccio's scope of practice includes routine and high-risk obstetrical care, well-woman care, transition to menopause, contraception management, gynecology, and minimally-invasive and robotic-assisted surgical procedures including hysterectomy and myomectomy.
