Horrible wait time

Lost my first baby due to a Dr being careless so when I found out I was pregnant with my second baby June 2020 someone referred me to Dr. Fortenberry and it was the best decision I made for my child and I. Dr. Fortenberry listened to all of my concerns. She seen my previous history with pregnancy and immediately referred me to a high risk Dr, upstairs from her office, which was a huge blessing because the pregnancy turned out to be a life threatening high risk pregnancy. Dr. Fortenberry had good beside manner, was very down to earth, never sugar coated anything with me, and stayed on top of things to keep me and baby safe the whole pregnancy. Dr. Greve that worked with Dr. Fortenberry delivered my baby via c section due to him being the Dr. On call that morning but afterwards Dr. Fortenberry took good care of us while being in the hospital. I was grateful to have a Dr. like her during a stressful high risk pregnancy. She’s amazing.

I had my well woman a month ago specifically to get birth control they never called it in and then when I went to go get it they didn’t have it so the pharmacy called them six times to get them to send it over they still haven’t sent it over I’ve called four times I literally just spent an hour and 10 minutes on hold being the first person in the queue with nobody picking up the phone I called back on another phone number three times and got the call center who refuse to get me to the office what’s the point of having the call center then finally one lady in the coal Center said she put it as an emergency because it is to me I have a medical condition I need that birth-control for otherwise I will not be able to work or anything else andI just wasted like I said an hour on hold do I get to charge you $20 for my hourly pay that I just missed because you couldn’t pick up the phone I haven’t had my pills in two days and it’s the weekend and if I don’t have it I’m going to have a major iss

Dr Fortenberry is very personable. She really listens to what you have to say. And she really seems to care. Her staff is also very friendly and helpful. I have been seeing Dr's at Matlock OBYGN for over 25 yrs and would highly recommend them. They got me through a very difficult pregnancy. I have my beautiful son to show for it. Thank you.

This doctor honestly doesn’t care for people, she was caring for me while I was carrying my child, this woman did not listen to any of my concerns! When I was giving birth I was positive for Covid and she literally forced the epidural onto me ??she very cold and even after I gave birth and went to see her for my check up she was unprofessional. I spoke to her about my high supply of breast milk and how I’m always getting milk ducts, she basically told me that I should be happy with my milk and my pain, cuz many more would die to have the amount of milk I have. My concern wasn’t how much milk I was making, it was the pain it caused me! I’d get milk duct every 3 days or so. My son is almost 2 month and I’m still having trouble, I tired everything there was to try ??

Everyone was very friendly and professional. Dr Fortenberry listened to and addressed all my concerns. She provided guidance and resources to help me deal with my medical problem. I look forward to seeing her again next year for my well woman exam.

After my doctor of almost 30 years retired, I went to Dr. Fortenberry who was very friendly and listened carefully to what I had to say. She made my transition easy and I am looking forward to treating with her for the years to come.

Amazing doctor.

My doctor retired, and Dr. Fortenberry inherited me. I am so glad. I have been going to her for about 3 years now, and she is very attentive and professional. I hope she doesn't retire anytime soon!

I love Dr. Fortenberry. I changed to her at the end of 2018 due to an ongoing issue I had been having for years that went unresolved. She took the time to listen to my concerns. We talked through my history and lifestyle to help determine the cause of my issue. She took her time with me. I never ever felt rushed, nor do I feel rushed when I go to visit now. I had to undergo a biopsy in the office. She made sure I felt no pain and talked me through the entire process. From my first visit wit Dr. Fortenberry I have always felt welcomed. I never felt like a new patient. She makes me feel like I have been going to her forever. She is amazing!

Dr Fortenberry is an awesome doctor, she cares about your overall health as well as your womanly health. She listens and she makes recommendations that will help. She cares and it shows each visit. I would not change doctors.

Dr. Fortenberry is part of a practice that I really like. She is very gentle, kind, and compassionate. She is also thorough in her exams. She took the time to talk to me and visit with me to get to know me before the exam. She made me feel comfortable with her. If you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing and is fast while she's checking your business, she is your doctor. Im glad I chose her.

Everyone at check in and out are GREAT!!! I LOOOOOOVE DR. FORTENBERRY!!! She is patient, kind, she listens it’s not like going to “the doctor” it’s like going to my BFF the energy the vibe is A-1 even the lab techs love them as well !!!!!

I wish I could leave a positive review but my experience was not great. The doctor did not listen to my concerns nor did she ask enough questions to properly diagnose me. I still don't know what's going on with me and I'm stuck looking for another physician. If she did not have the knowledge, she should have referred me to another physician that's willing to listen and help with my health issues. If you don't have any health issues then she's an ok doctor to go to get an annual. I wish my experience was better.

Dr. Fortenberry is a very responsive doctor who will take the time to listen to your concerns and give you the best treatment possible. She has a warm inviting bedside manner and this goes a long way in the patient - doctor relationship. Her staff is also very responsive to left message and you will get a reply that same day or first thing the next morning! I strong recommend Dr. Fortenberry as a well respected physician.
