Dr. Tenzel earned her bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science in 2019 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Tenzel has a vested interest in resident and medical student education and clinical training. She was awarded the Gold Humanism Honor Society Resident Teaching Award in 2016. Her professional interests include contraception, adolescent gynecology, high-risk obstetrics, and maternal mental health.
