Dr. Yashwanth Jasti, MD

About 1.5 years ago, I was hospitalized for a repair to a vascular procedure previously performed. After the repair I was sent home with a heavy antibiotic intravenously. Within 3 days my vitals took a nose dive and I was taken, by ambulance, back to ER. After multiple tests and 7 days in the hospital, it was Dr Jasti who finally and correctly diagnosed the problem. I was allergic to the antibiotic. It caused my thoracic cavity to fill with fluid. He extracted over 300cc's of fluid from my chest. While everyone else was trying to treat me for COVID, it was Dr Jasti who moved on and found the real problem. With out his expertise and skill, I would not be here today!! This year I developed pneumonia and then contracted COVID on top of it. Again, DR Jasti came to the rescue. He's incredible! I'm home now and healing. For infectious disease, I only trust Dr Jasti!!!

Dr. Jasty first visited me in the hospital to help try to save my foot from a diabetic ulcer, where the infection had reached the bone. After a handful of surgeries and little hope from other doctors, it was Dr. Jasty who gave me hope that the foot could still be saved. Even tho it's a slower recovery (due to the diabetes), Jasty is fully confident that I will have a solid recovery. He's very informative, listens well, and has a great understanding of his field that he delivers to his patients during conversations. I will definitely continue seeing him, even if my insurance doesn't cover him! A++ in my book, not many doctors like him.

I had an infection from a sore on one of my toes. Dr. Jasti knew exactly what it was, how to treat it, & that it would get better. I asked about something a friend was going through & he gave advice on that too; that there’s always something to do to treat infections.

I went to the ER at Baylor Scott White (Waxahachie) in September 2021. I had 1st and 2nd degree burns on my left arm. 1st. 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my left foot. Turns out I got a blood infection because of the burns. Dr. Yasti treated me in the hospital. He explained in details what caused this. Very polite and easy to talk to. Went on and explained how to treat this. I would highly recommend him to all I know. My follow up was the same way. Great doctor.

I was hospitalized at Baylor in Waxahachie with swollen and possibly infected leg due to a fall and was given IV antibiotics upon admission. It was Dr. Jasti that ordered the CT Scan which diagnosed the issue: an abscess or possibly a hematoma. Dr Jasti’s knowledge and experience led to a surgical resolution. Thankfully, it was a hematoma with negative culture. Dr Jasti’s care throughout the healing process has been extremely positive due to his expertise and to the caring physician/ patient relationship we established. I would highly recommend patient care with Dr. Yashwanth Jasti.
