Bassett is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with sub-specialized training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow and knee.She is a team physician for USA Gymnastics and currently serves as the director of the Women&rsquos Sports Medicine Center at the Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey. Prior to her position at the Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey, Dr. Bassett served as a team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers as well as Villanova University and Saint Joseph&rsquos University Athletics. She also served on the medical staff for several running events, including the Philadelphia Marathon.
