Rude
Very short, very rude. Harassed me about being on birth control. over all, left feeling degraded and shamed

Dr Stephen is an amazing dr
Dr Stephen has helped me with headaches and neck pain. She is thorough professional kind and caring. Unfortunately people with grudges tend to leave negative feedbacks and people pleased with services do not!! I have been to many drs seeking help for severe headaches for years FINALLY IVE FOUND HELP THANKS TO DR STEPHENS! She and her staff has gone out of their way to help me get very expensive medications at affordable ways! Staff is also incredibly kind prompt and caring. I am so grateful to Patty and the other front girl staff. My sister went to a different reputable neurologist and it took her months to get properly medicated. THIS OFFICE CARES AND DR STEPHEN IS A GREAT DIAGNOSTICIAN! Can’t thank her enough! Proper medical care has been a game changer, from constant pain to a normal life! Highly recommend!! People should give honest and accurate reviews and be appreciative for her medical knowledge time and concern. Dr Stephen and staff I am grateful; thank you

4 minutes, no tests, left the room, 500 dollars.
The doctor prescribed more medicine even though the level of was 11. I was told for 20 years that 10 or above was therapeutic by a different doctor in the same group. I hope to find a new neurologist that really cares and is friendly.

Don't just don't go
Phone never answered constant ringing no voice mail. Disability couldn't even get in touch. Crazy late fees on a late payment on a bill that was charged wrong simply due to wrong date of referral. My pcp sent exactly what they asked for a usual $75 bill is now well over 1500$. Dr. Is knowledgeable about alot but jumps to conclusions immediately due to personal choices/ lifestyle etc. including weight ....mind you I lost 75lbs between visits.

Totally Wasted My Time and Nothing But Bad Vibes
Have had a serious and progressive diagnosed and confirmed neuropathy in my legs and previous MD and Neurologist have not diagnosed the cause or offered a treatment plan given a 2 year stretch to do so. Hence looking for a new doctor. Dr. Stephen was recommended to me by a close family member who is an administrator in one of her hospitals. Well, the appointment lasted 4 minutes. She had me walk 10 feet, tapped my knees, spent all of 10 seconds looking at the tests and records, cut me off and did not listen to much of anything I had to say, then told me to go back to my old doctor and left the room. Such curtness and rudeness I have never before experienced, and I am not one of those crazy hypochondriacs or professional patients. We drove 35 miles to see her based on the recommendation. I was in pain and barely able to walk. Wow. What more can I say. Except, yeah, the Dover office was a throw back to 1955 and they do not much seem to care. Good luck.

Her room in the Sparta office is large, and she seats the patient on the far side of the room from herself. I have trouble hearing her at that distance!

The Hackettstown office building was a little "run down" on the outside and on the inside; the office was clean, neat and as well kept as it could be (outdated). The office staff was friendly, Dr. Stephen was pleasant enough, answered all of my questions. She was understanding about my concerns of my condition, and reassuring, that time would "heal" the symptoms. She was quick to order the proper therapy, and wanted the best of the best to supervise it.It is workers comp case so, it was DENIED.

I have never in my life witness such an unprofessional Doctor in my life. She kept a patient in the hospital longer than necessary. Four days when completely healthy. Left notes in patient's file without sharing the notes with patient. Never explained the testing needed or what the process was. Took calls while with patient. When patient complained to hospital about not knowing anything about their stay the doctor got extremely unprofessional and got in a heated argument with patient/family.

Dr Stephen performed an EMG in her Dover office. It was not the super painful experience that I expected. She was considerate and I appreciate her expertise. I would recommend her very highly.

Absolutely horrible experience. She never examined me and filed a false report with NJ MVC contradicting my personal physicians saying that he would personally vouch for my ability to drive my car safely.
