Dr. Philipp earned his Doctor of Medicine at New York Medical College and completed his residency training in general surgery at University of CaliforniaSan Diego. He also completed a fellowship in minimally-invasive surgery at University of MissouriColumbia. Prior to his medical training, he graduated with honors from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and Anatomy.Dr. Philipp is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery.
