While I still enjoy performing general orthopedic procedures such as total knee replacements, carpal tunnel release, and trauma. My passion is foot and ankle surgery, in particular, the treatment of complex foot and ankle reconstruction including total ankle replacements, flat foot and cavovarus deformities, as well as tendon and ligament reconstructions. As a former collegiate tennis player, I have a passion for sports injuries related to the foot and ankle.

My passion is hip and knee replacement surgery to allow patients to return to a good quality of life. I perform partial knee replacements, total knee replacements and hip replacement surgery with minimally invasive techniques including the minimally invasive (ASI-anterior supine intramuscular) direct anterior approach to the hip.

Kelly Hendricks, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Kansas City Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine in Overland Park, KS. He is affiliated with Menorah Medical Center and HCA Midwest Health. Dr. Hendricks has been recognized annually as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2014, and is considered to be one of the area's preeminent experts in adult orthopedic reconstruction, specifically in knee and hip replacements. He is a leader in adopting the latest total knee replacement technology a smart knee implant for patients who qualify, as he seeks to improve patient outcomes through enhanced precision and accuracy. Dr. Hendricks is frequently called upon by orthopedic colleagues for difficult or complex surgical procedures, and is one of the region's few surgeons who performs total femoral replacements. Dr. Kneeman is an interventional pain physician who completed residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Washington in Seattle. He then moved to Chicago to complete an interventional pain fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, during which he learned state-of-the-art techniques to help manage complex musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal and nerve-related pain disorders, including interventional treatments for neuropathic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, spinal stenosis, vertebral compression fractures, and persistent pain after surgery. His goal is to offer opiate-sparing alternatives to help improve both pain and function. Originally from Tucson, AZ, Dr. Kneeman has enjoyed establishing roots in his new hometown of Kansas City. He enjoys spending time with family, playing soccer, reading, and listening to music in his spare time.
