I enjoy and have trained in all aspects of orthopedic surgery but have a special interest in sports related injuries. Being a collegiate athlete myself, I feel I can relate to the injured athlete better than most physicians. I completed an extra year of training specifically in sports medicine and emphasize not only the quality surgical management of injuries but also the safe return to play and prevention of these injuries in the first place.

My goal is always to maximize non-operative treatment modalities and discuss surgical options when necessary. Dr. Brian Kindred is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with College Park Family Care located within the Specialty Center in Overland Park, Kansas. He is affiliated with Overland Park Regional Medical Center and Research Medical Center. Dr. Kindred's areas of clinical focus include general orthopedics, sports medicine and joint replacement. He offers more than 20 years of patient care experience and has served in multiple professional leadership roles including hospital medical staff president and chief of surgery.Dr. Kindred earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed a residency at Saint Louis University Hospitals. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Kansas Orthopedic Society, the Mid-Central States Orthopedic Association and the Kansas Medical Society.

Dr. Daggett founded Sano Orthopedics with a mission to improve musculoskeletal health. This pursuit drives his technique innovation, which he validates through research and outcomes. He believes better individualized care will create a healthier KC village. Dr. Matt Daggett is known for taking the time to listen to his patients, understand their fears and concerns and then pursuing the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Van den Berghe is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is Fellowship Trained in Sports Medicine with a special interest in shoulder issues. He believes in providing treatment plans that are patient specific in order to best facilitate healing. He was previously the team physician for the San Diego Padres.
