Dr. Nazareno earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, the Philippines, in 1989, following a B.S. in Biology from the same institution. His clinical training included a rotating internship at Santo Tomas University Hospital. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Nazareno was an internal medicine primary care physician in Surprise, AZ, and earlier, an acute care hospitalist with Sunrise Medical in Peoria, AZ. He has served as an assistant clinical professor at Midwestern University since 2008. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Bommakanti saw patients with Village Medical and previously with Pebble Creek Medical Group. He has worked as a hospitalist at Banner Estrella Medical Center since 2008. His roles at Abrazo West Campus, Maryvale Medical Center, and senior house surgeon positions in India reflect his experience. Passionate about heart health, exercise, and diabetes, Dr. Bommakanti feels a deep affinity with older adults and believes that taking the time to listen to his patients is vital to improving their well-being. Dr. Bommakanti chose medicine to enhance lives. In his free time, he enjoys family gatherings, playing cricket, caroms, and chess, comedy and martial arts movies, traveling, and meditating for mental peace and spiritual growth.
