Dr. Robert Sopko, DDS

After years of pain in a molar that had a root canal done, I was referred to Dr Sopko by my Dentist. His receptionist, Sherry, was very compassionate and understanding of my need to be seen as soon as possible. I was worked in the same day. Upon arrival, a scan was done of my teeth and Dr Sopko immediately knew that I actually had 3 roots, instead of 2 and my root canal done years prior had missed the 3rd root. He said that usual practice was to examine and have patients come back for the actual work, but he couldn't let me go home in the condition I was in. After exploration, he found that my missed 3rd root had been growing bacteria and invaded my sinuses with infection. It was so bad that the bacteria had eaten through my bone, and it looked like "Swiss cheese." I can't express the level of gratitude I have for Dr Sopko and his staff! He saved me. He also validated the pain I had been dealing with for years! THANK YOU, Dr Sopko- you are my hero!

I am a high anxiety dental patient that found myself in need of a root canal one evening. My regular dentist referred me to Dr Sopko who waited for me to get there that evening. Dr Sopko and his staff immediately put me at ease and explained what they were going to do at each step. He numbed me to the point that I felt absolutely no pain during the procedure and no real discomfort. It was a lengthy procedure but he was very thorough and his nurse was very comforting. He had very sophisticated imaging equipment which enabled him to see exactly what needed to be done with no guesswork. While a root canal is not fun I have discovered it does not have to be painful and I did not leave there over medicated. I had no pain the next day. I would highly recommend this doctor and his staff to anyone needing endodontic services.

Dr. Sopko is a compassionate, highly skilled dentist. I didn't know much about root canals, but he did a great job about explaining what was going on with my tooth and how to treat. He gave me treatment options including watchful waiting or surgery. His office staff is highly professional. He also did a great job at making sure the procedure was comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Sopko.

Dr. Sopko was a very caring and friendly practitioner. He put me at ease immediately, even though I was having an emergency root canal. The surgery was so painless that I fell asleep in the chair during the procedure. I would highly recommend Sopko for any endodontic procedures.
