Despite what these ratings may say, Dr. Hardesty took the time with me to thoroughly explain my situation to me and help me understand what my options were! (I don't take care of my mouth the way I need to!!) He was kind and did not make any judgements about my condition. His fees were fair and consistent with other opinions I have had.

After years with the same dentist who took dental health seriously, our experience with Dr. Hardesty's office was frustrating, if not questionable. Our takeaway was that his office could charge more than customary fees because he was not contractually obligated by insurance coverage. Yes, when we questioned the shocking bill we received for treatment, we were actually told by his office that he could charge above customary charges. That should make alarm bells go off. In addition to excessive fees, the recommended treatment and equipment also questionable. The entire experience left us with the feeling of being taken advantage of. Would never recommend. Ask for their fee schedule first and make sure you understand their billing practices before you agree to treatment.

Kind, caring and professional at every level of service. Courtesy and respect characterize Dr Hardesty! Knowledge and down to earth are rarely found together!!! You will love this dentist!!!

I went to Hardesty’s office for 1.5yr after moving into the area. His dental work was good, but sometimes questionable. Ex: Instead of adjusting the cusp points on a new crown, he ground away the natural tooth above it. I dreaded his hygienist. Never before have I been is so much pain from a checkup/cleaning. It was actually more painful than having a tooth drilled without anesthetic.
