Dr. Douglas Hightower, DDS

We've had Dr Hightower as our dentist at least 18 years. He is extremely competent with crowns, root canals, extraction, implants and general dentistry. He is VERY patient and painless!

After getting x rays, I met Dr. Hightower. I was trying to be respectful, but it was obvious he was impaired. He was shaking uncontrollably. As I left, I respectfully explained that I would not be able to continue and asked the office to not file with my insurance. Not only did he file, he is refusing to give me the X-rays (legally he has 30 days- but I'm doubtful As the staff has been so rude. I just wanted a dentist. I was placed in an awkward situation. I see I should've looked here first.

This Doctors office is extremely unprofessional. My husband came in for a tooth extraction where he paid 329.00 cash for the services, they didn't prescribe antibiotics or pain meds and the area became more infected, so the following week we went back to get it fixed because he has been in so mich pain and they FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST is so rude she argues from the time we get their to the time we leave. She even went in the exam room to taunt him. How unprofessional.

The worst dentist I have ever been to. The man was pulling on my mouth very hard and did a very cursory examination. Nothing of value, most of the insight came from the assistants. Worst of all was the administrative staff, which wasted my time and incorrectly scheduled me and on top of that, tried to argue with me about the schedule I had requested (by several phone calls and text messages ... since they are so bad at understanding simple requests there was plenty of back and forth).

I had two lower teeth pulled on July 5th. Dr. Hightower was not gental at all. He sent me out of the office with no antibiotics or pain meds not even 800mg ibprobren. Needless to say after the numbness and OTC meds that I was told to take wore off I was in extreme PAIN. The office staff are sweet and very kind. I wouldn't take my dog let alone my worse enemy to Dr. Douglas High tower for ANY dental work.??
