Fascinated by the technical aspects of his specialty, Dr. Parker likes the challenges of the ever-changing field of orthopaedics. He especially enjoys the doctor-patient relationships that he has developed because he feels most orthopaedic patients are ``motivated and proactive about their recovery.`` As an active and respected participant in many professional medical organizations, Dr. Parker has delivered numerous presentations and educational seminars at orthopaedic conferences around the country. Currently, Dr. Parker serves as a team physician for the Washington Redskins. He also has significant experience in the area of sports medicine having cared for athletes from the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, and Northwestern University. Additionally, he served as team physician for DC United and he served as assistant team physician for the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, and the University of Houston while doing his fellowship.

Care Philosophy: He finds it very fulfilling to see patients return to participating in many of their favorite activities after a successful joint replacement. Additionally, the field is constantly evolving and he enjoys staying current on the latest advancements in areas like robotic surgery and computer navigation.
