Dr. Fortune is a knowledgeable lovely professional. I feel very fortunate -sorry, couldn't help myself - to be her care!

I wish she could be my doctor for everything lol

I have been seeing Dr. Fortune for several years for headaches and other issues. She is by far my favorite doctor; I wish she could be my doctor for everything. She is very personable, thorough, knows me and my medical history better than any other doctor has, and she explains things well.

Dr. Fortune is very warm and welcoming. She is so thorough in taking a health history and gets right to the problem(s). She explains everything on your level of understanding and develops a plan allowing your input. I highly recommend her.

Dr Fortune is extremely intelligent and is wonderful in explaining her findings.

I always look forward to my visit with her, having had two small strokes a few years ago.

Dr. Fortune is truly professional and caring. She gives you her attention and truly shows she cares. She is a rare doctor amongst the doctors today. Dr. Fortune was thorough in her examination, it did not feel rushed, she asked questions and allowed me to ask questions. She explained everything in lay terms. She made sure that her office set up all of the needed follow up tests, making the entire process as carefree as it could possibly be.

Her expertise, her patient care approach and her clear explanations of tests, results and reccomendations. Also she is such a positive person.

Her professionalism, engagement and treatment of her patients is the Gold Standard of Care you want in a doctor. Dr. Fortuné also gives me as a caregiver a platform where my thoughts and questions can be discussed. In addition, her staff makes the appointment experience seemless with their courteousness, knowledge and efficiency!

Dr. Taryn Fortune is the greatest. After typical delays waiting to see her, she makes up for it by giving you kind, professional attention answering all questions patiently and without rushing. Her Qs of me demonstrated she knew her stuff...!

Dr. Fortune is professional and personable. She is easy to talk to. She makes you feel that she cares about your health concerns. She takes her time, listens and provides you with information regarding your health concerns.

Dr Fortune is incredible. She is knowledgeable, detailed, and helps to ask the questions you don’t know to ask for yourself when you arrive in pain. More importantly, she sincerely cares, like really cares about her people. I haven’t seen her in a couple of years and she remembered everything about my backstory, family, and health saga—which in itself is priceless to be a chronic pain patient and not have to tell your life story for the billionth time. Conversely, and I don’t know if it is understaffing, pay, other, but the front off staff is as rude and curt over the phone as they are in person. A warmer greeting for people with neurological issues is not a bonus, it’s a necessity for a practice that is helping people through some of the toughest ailments we would never wish on others. I recognize you have a hard job, but being kind, warm, and understanding is a big part of that. If Fortune wasn’t who she was, I would’ve gone elsewhere just on the negative tenor of the office staff.

Dr. Fortune listen to my concerns, reviewed and discussed my medical history. She gave a comprehensive evaluation. Based on the evaluation she designed a treatment plan. I look forward to my follow up appointment. Excellent care.

I have been seeing Dr. Fortuné for two years officially and as a black woman, the bar has been set very high. Compassion. Empathy. Humor. Professional. She really does care. When she’s looking at me, I know she cares about me. She’s excellent at what she does.

I really appreciate the professional staff, efficient process of the office. Dr Fortune asked the right questions to break down my symptoms so we were able cover a lot of ground quickly. Even so I didn’t feel rushed, she was thorough and caring. Highly recommend!
