He went on to start his medical studies at Howard University, College of Medicine in Washington, D.C where he received his Doctorate of Medicine. Dr. Nwokeji then went on to complete an internship and residency in General Surgery with Morristown Memorial Hospital and Howard University Hospital. Dr. Nwokeji completed his medical training with a fellowship in Urology with Southern Illinois University.Dr. Nwokeji is board certified with the American Board of Urology. Dr. Nwokeji is an active member of the American Urological Association (AUA), Harris County Medical Society (HCMS), Texas Medical Association (TMA), and the Houston Urologic Society. Biography: Dr. Raj Satkunasivam is a fellowship-trained Urologic Oncologist with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic approaches for the treatment of genito-urinary malignancies. His practice includes minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques for kidney, bladder, prostate, adrenal and testicular cancers. He practices the full spectrum of Urologic Oncology, including retroperitoneal surgery for advanced testicular and kidney cancer. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Houston Methodist Academic Institute and a Full Member of the Houston Methodist Neal Cancer Center where he Co-Chairs the Genito-Urinary Disease Oriented Group. Dr. Satkunasivam received his medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed his urology residency also at the University of Toronto. He pursued sub-specialty fellowship training in urologic oncology, advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgery at the University of Southern California, where he developed novel techniques for robotic bladder cancer surgery with entirely robotic (intra-corporeal) urinary reconstruction. At Houston Methodist, he is the Director of Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery at the Methodist Institute for Technology, Innovation, and Education (MITIE). Dr. Satkunasivam holds the designation of Clinician Trialist from the Houston Methodist Academic Institute and focuses his attention on the development of novel, innovative clinical trials to improve the outcomes of patients with early stage bladder cancer. This includes a specific focus on using immunotherapy to improve bladder cancer control. The second component of his research program is clinical epidemiology/health services research focused on genito-urinary malignancies and surgical outcomes.

Biography: Dr. Ricardo R. Gonzalez is an internationally-recognized expert in minimally-invasive treatments for voiding dysfunction. For men, he is an expert in surgical therapies for BPH, including GreenLight laser vaporization of the prostate, enucleation (HoLEP and GreenLEP), Rezum, Urolift, Aquablation and others. He currently holds a Center of Excellence Certification for both GreenLight and Rezum. He has been invited to teach laser surgery throughout the U.S. and in 17 foreign countries. His research includes the development and evaluation of minimally invasive treatments that improve voiding function in men while preserving sexual function. His focus also encompasses the evaluation and management in urinary incontinence and pelvic floor reconstruction and functional restoration in women. His goal is to provide state-of-the-art urologic care to improve patients' quality of life, especially with urinary and sexual quality of life. Dr. Gonzalez was the former Medical Director for the Centers for Voiding Dysfunction and Clinical Research at Houston Metro Urology. He has joined the full-time academic faculty at Houston Methodist Hospital with faculty affiliations at Weil Cornell and Baylor College of Medicine.
