Biography: Dr. Adam Schatz grew up in Wenatchee, WA. He attended Central Washington University and earned degrees in English Literature and History, but he felt his true calling was in medicine. He returned to school and received his MD from Albany Medical College. He remained in Albany, NY, for the completion of his General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency. He is married with three young children and a dog. He and his family have spent nine years on the East Coast, and they are excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest. He enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, hiking, camping, biking, skiing, and exploring. Dr. Schatz is a board eligible urologist, with broad interest in general urologic care. He sees patients of all ages, including men, women, and children. He is particularly interested in prostate health, voiding dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and stone disease. Dr. Schatz is a member of the Idaho Medical Association and the Ada County Medical Society. Biography: Nicholas J. Kuntz, MD, is a board-certified urologist who joined Idaho Urologic Institute in 2021, after serving as a urologist for 11 years in the US Army. He is a native of the Treasure Valley, and a graduate of Eagle High School. He received an undergraduate degree from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, followed by a Medical Degree from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed a General Surgery Internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, followed by a residency in urologic surgery, and a research fellowship in endourology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Before returning to Idaho, Dr. Kuntz spent 5 years in practice at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. Dr. Kuntz is well-versed in a full spectrum of urologic conditions and specializes in da Vinci® robotic surgery and other minimally invasive surgical techniques. He has special interests in the treatment of prostate and kidney malignancies, as well as BPH (enlarged prostate), and complex kidney stones. Dr. Kuntz treats men, women, and children, and sees patients in our Nampa and Meridian clinics. He has medical privileges at Saint Alphonsus Boise and Nampa; Treasure Valley Hospital in Boise; West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, and the Boise VA Medical Center. Dr. Kuntz is a member of the Idaho Medical Association and the Ada County Medical Society.

Biography: Michael B. Taylor, MD treats all aspects of adult urology with a special focus in benign prostatic hyperplasia (otherwise known as BPH or enlarged prostate), kidney stones, men's health, urethral stricture disease, prostate cancer, and bladder cancer.Dr. Taylor has pioneered several procedures in the state of Idaho. He was the first urologist in the state to perform the following:Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP)Dr. Taylor performed the first HoLEP in Idaho on July 31, 2022He performed 330 HoLEP procedures and trained other local urologists in HoLEP over the next 24 monthsUrolift® (or prostatic urethral stenting)Rezum™ (prostate thermovaporization)Buccal Graft UrethroplastyDr. Taylor has a track record of excelling both academically and surgically. He was class valedictorian in high school, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University, elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society of his medical school (University California, Irvine), received the Humanism in Medicine Award, and was selected by the faculty as Surgical Student of the Year. He completed his Urology Residency training at the University of Utah.Prior to starting his independent practice, Dr. Taylor served as Medical Director of the St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center Operating Room.He is a member of the American Urologic Association and is Board Certified.

Biography: Dr. Hasan Dani is a urologic surgeon with a particular interest in urologic cancers and robotic surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated magna cum laude. He attended medical school at the State University of New York in Brooklyn and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. He then completed his urologic training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. During his training at Hopkins, he received awards for his clinical excellence and published numerous journal articles and book chapters on prostate cancer and urologic reconstruction.Dr. Dani has significant experience in treating urologic cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer. He also has an interest in urinary reconstruction and general urologic conditions including kidney stones, benign prostatic enlargement, voiding dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, and pediatric urology. He is skilled with robotic, laparoscopic, endoscopic, and open surgical techniques. Dr. Dani treats both adults and children.Outside of work, Dr. Dani can be found spending time with his wife and children, and he looks forward to continuing to grow his family in Boise. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors hiking, mountain biking, camping, and skiing.Dr. Dani sees patients in our Meridian, Boise, and Nampa clinics. Biography: Dr. Lisa Parrillo is a reconstructive urologist. She is a graduate of Pomona College in Claremont, CA, and attended medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She completed her urology residency at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and went on to complete a fellowship in Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Parrillo sees male and female patients and has special interest in reconstructive urology; treatment of urethral stricture disease; treatment of erectile dysfunction; multimodal treatment of urinary incontinence; robotic treatment of ureteral stricture; robotic treatment of prolapse disease; treatment of vesicovaginal fistulas; vasectomy; treatment of urologic cancer; complex urinary infection issues and treatment of stone disease. She participates in research studies at Idaho Urologic Institute. When not working, Dr. Parrillo enjoys the outdoors and runs, rock climbs, skis and hikes. Dr. Parrillo is a member of the American Urologic Association, Society of Women in Urology, and the Genitourinary Reconstruction Society. Dr. Parrillo has medical privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Centers, Boise; Treasure Valley Hospital and the Boise VA Medical Center in Boise; West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell.
