This includes advanced arthroscopic/minimally invasive treatments, arthroplasty, and fracture care. He performs the latest techniques including the direct anterior approach total hip replacement, robotic total and partial knee replacement and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. Motisi is a native to Plantation, Florida, he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science and then he received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University, graduating at the top of his class. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Broward Health Medical Center, a busy Level 1 Trauma Center. During his time there, he received extensive training in all facets of orthopedic surgery including primary and complex joint reconstruction, as well as complex fracture care and surgery. During his final year of residency he was chosen as a Chief Resident and awarded Orthopedic Resident of the Year. After Residency, Dr. Motisi completed an additional year of fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was also a team physician for several high school and collegiate sports teams in Chicago.
