Dr. Gosthe took the time to listen to my comments and provided his opinion and recommendations, which I really appreciate. I did not feel rushed which meant a lot.

Being born with hip dysplasia I always had my struggles and learned to live with the muscular pain. My length difference was an added factor to discomfort and caused for the bone decomposing. I am so blessed and fortunate to have received Dr Raul Gosthe medical expert care. He doesn’t joke when he says he is well experienced and will do what he can to get you back on your daily activities. My recovery after my hip replacement has gone so smoothly and most importantly I can say I was in good hands. I would refer him to all my loved ones suffering with hip or knee problems. I’m beyond thankful.

Dr. Gosthe is an excellent surgeon. He is very personable and is straightforward in telling you what to expect. My knee surgery went beautifully, and I responded exactly as expected. He took the time to interact with me and to answer any questions.

VEry professional, precise and no issues

In 2022 I engaged Dr Gosthe to do a total knee replacement for my left knee. He answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable before my surgery.My surgery went off without a hitch and with the help of PT and Dr Gosthe exceptional work I was mobile by the next day. I was off a walker very quickly. My knee feels new and I have no issues!And not for nothing my scar is tiny!Danielle, his assistant is also professional and accessible and she followed him out to Denver which just shows what a strong team they are.It’s now time for my right knee to be done and I am trying to figure out how I can get to Denver to have Dr Gosthe to do his magic again.

It’s been over a year since I had my full hip replacement on my right hip. I am so thankful for the surgery performed by Dr. Gosthe. I can walk like a normal person, I can sleep at night, I can work out, I can run, and feel back to normal. I don’t think you feel 100% back to normal in the first year and a half. It takes a lot of effort to work your legs out at least 4 times a week, but when your legs become stronger everything else falls into place. The minute you stop you begin to feel your leg get weak so keep in mind that your legs ALWAYS have to stay strong to have good results from this surgery. Remember after surgery within the first year you have all the flexibility to keep your legs strong so there is no excuses! Thank you Dr. Gosthe for giving me the best care from start to finish.

After years of postponing, a hip replacement, I couldn’t have been happier with choosing Dr Gosthe. From start to finish everything went great. Everyone is friendly, professional, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend.

Ongoing knee pain from an auto accident a year ago changed my CR knee replacement from no pain for 3 months into worsening problems and pain after impact with my steering wheel. My primary care physician referred me to Holy Cross Hospital having the best joint replacement after I had seen several different knee surgeons spread out over the past year who all told me I needed revision surgery. I had forgotten that I had seen a colleague in the same office who brushed me off, so this doctor did the same thing after roughly jerking my knee around and hurting me. He thinks my sciatic pain is causing knee problems rather than the other way around. He seems not to hear me when I explain what happened! My knee is aching all the time and snaps with every step since I have seen him. He says that pain in the front if the knee will not get better with revision surgery, but my pain is all around and inside! I do not recommend him.

I was in so much pain that it was difficult to sit, walk & sleep. I was told by my orthopedic Dr that I was bone on bone & I needed surgery sooner than later. She recommended Dr Gosthe because of his technical expertise & his patient & kind way. I was very nervous about having surgery. Dr Gosthe was so patient explaining the surgery & calming my nerves. I knew I was with the right Dr. My surgery went very well & the care I received from Dr Gosthe, his office Staff made the whole experience better than I could have imagined. I was sorry that I waited so long to have the surgery. My other hip was giving me the same pain so I didn’t hesitate to see Dr Gosthe for surgery on my other hip. I can finally stand up straight & walk pain free. The best advice I can pass on is listen to Dr Gosthe & follow all his protocols. Therapy is very important walking & the exercises make your recovery better & faster.

Dr. Gosthe performed a double hip-replacement surgery on me, he explained the entire procedure from start to finish and the recovery process. He took the time to listen and answered all our questions. Because of his devotion to care and listen he took away my fears. A difficult & scary surgery, became a walk in the park. We all recover different, but I can tell you that I was walking (with assistance) the day after my surgery and on my own (2) weeks later. Dr. Gosthe gave me a second change to go back and do the things I love and could do before the surgery. 2nd to my wife and our kids this was the best thing/experience that could've happen to me. I highly recommend Dr. Gosthe to anyone. Dr. Gosthe you are truly an awesome person, a master in your field and my family & I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We wish you the best..

I searched for a reputable surgeon after hurting my knee. It was easy to book an appointment. The staff was all pleasant, accommodating, and helpful. Dr. Gosthe was able to give me alternative action plans for my injury. I highly recommend him.

Had 2 follow up visits. Discussed my surgery procedure and follow up care. He took plenty of time to answer all of my questions. I received a copy of my x-rays and reports. His staff, especially Eilene was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this group.

I had today my last visit to Dr. Gosthe one year after my right hip replacement, and year and a half after my left knee replacement, I am so grateful because my surgeries were performed with professionalism and a wide knowledge of the matter that affect my mobility. I recommend without a doubt His service.

If not for Gosthe I would not be able to walk well again and enjoy my future with my family and loved ones. He and his staff treated me as if I were a member of the family. I am gratefully indebted.

My mother had knee replacement surgery on both knees about 10 years ago ( the surgery was NOT done by Dr. Gosthe). Over the years she developed an infection in her right knee which caused her leg to swell and developed a nasty bruise on the back of her knee. We saw Dr Gosthe and I didn’t have much confidence in him because of all the other doctors that came before him that was misdiagnosed. In came Dr.Gosthe (who was recommended to us by her primary care doctor). He was very professional, patient, confident, has a sense of humor and passionate about what he does. Most importantly, he listened to our concerns, our fears, he didn’t talk down to my mother and he didn’t make any promises, but yet he was confident. Fast forward a month and 2 weeks after her knee surgery (again), my mom is doing great and we owe that to Dr. Gosthe. Thank you from my heart and my mom’s heart to yours. Dr Gosthe just did a revision on my 24 year old knee replacement. After only 6 weeks post op I am almost 100%. He did a wonderful job. I will definitely use him for my left one when that needs a revision

Dr. Gosthe and his assistant Allison made me feel welcomed and valued. They knew I was scared with the procedure I was getting. They calmed me and made sure I was treated and able to leave comfortable. They are not only incredible medical professionals they are also incredible humans. They truly like people!
