Care Philosophy: A native of Connecticut, Dr Poch entered Brown University as an undergraduate in the Program of Liberal Medical Education. He graduated with a BA in Biology from Brown University and went on to complete medical school at Brown Medical School. He stayed in Providence, Rhode Island at Brown University to complete his urology residency training.After residency he moved to Buffalo, New York to complete a Society for Urologic Oncology accredited urologic oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. His clinical interests include bladder, kidney and prostate cancer with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgery and robotics.

Care Philosophy: Dr Yu received her MD from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She completed a Urology Residency at the McGill University Health Center. Subsequently, she spent two years in Boston, Massachusetts where she completed a Urologic Oncology Fellowship in the Combined Harvard Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr Yu's clinical practice focuses on the surgical treatment of urologic cancers including prostate, bladder, kidney, penile and testicular cancer, using minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) and open techniques. She is interested in surgical outcomes research and quality improvement with a focus on bladder and prostate cancers.

Care Philosophy: Khaled Shahrour, MD is a board-certified and fellowship-trained minimally invasive urologist who has been practicing for nearly 15 years. His main interests include urologic cancers, medical and surgical management of kidney stones, general urology and minimally invasive surgery including prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and cystectomy. He is also a member of the American Urologic Association, Endourologic Society, and South Eastern Section of the American Urologic Association. Biography: Dr. Matt Sorensen was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida. He attended The University of Florida and graduated with honors with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He obtained his medical degree from The University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and urologic surgery training at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Dr. Sorensen has comprehensive training in advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques, including the use of advanced laparoscopic procedures and the da Vinci robot for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, and various other urologic conditions. Further training includes male and female urinary dysfunction, kidney stone disease, urinary incontinence, bladder cancer, and men's health.

Biography: Vipul Patel, MD, FACS, is the director of the Global Robotics Institute at AdventHealth Celebration. He leads one of the world's most experienced robotic surgery teams and travels around the world to educate physicians and care for patients. He is the editor emeritus of The Journal of Robotic Surgery and editor of the first-ever robotic urology textbook. Dr. Patel is world-renowned for his contribution to the field of robotic surgery and is committed to personalized patient care and quality outcomes. He is one of the most experienced robotic surgeons in the world and has personally performed over 16,000 robotic prostatectomies. In addition, Dr. Patel is the medical director of the AdventHealth Celebration Cancer Institute Urologic Oncology Program. He is a professor of urology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, Florida, and a clinical associate professor of urology at Nova Southeastern University, also in Orlando. He is the founder of the International Prostate Cancer Foundation (IPCF) and a founding member of the Society of Robotic Surgery. He serves as an honorary professor at the University of Milan, Korea University and Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Peru, and was recently made an honorary professor of the Russian Academy of Science. Dr. Patel previously served as director of the Robotic Surgery Program at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, prior to joining AdventHealth Celebration in 2008. During his tenure, he was also in charge of minimally invasive urologic surgery and associate professor of urology and bioinformatics. Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Urological Association and completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Miami in Florida.

Care Philosophy: Dr Roger Li is a genitourinary oncologist whose clinical practice focuses on the surgical treatment of bladder, prostate, kidney and penile cancers. He offers a variety of treatment options, including open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted procedures, as well as nerve sparing approaches based on the clinical scenario. Prior to joining Moffitt, Dr Li completed advanced urologic oncology training at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr Li's research interest includes the genomic characterization of genitourinary malignancies in attempt to tailor therapy specific to the patient, as well as the development of novel immunotherapeutic strategies in treating early stage bladder cancer.
