Biography: Dr. Flor Limas was born in Pharr, Texas and raised in the northern part of Mexico. Ever since she can remember she had always wanted to become a doctor. Helping those in need has always brought happiness to her life. As a result, she attended the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and graduated in 2005 with a degree in PreMed Biology and minor in Chemistry. Dr. Limas then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she obtained her Medical Doctor degree in 2009. During those four years in medical school, she was privileged to experience many different areas of medicine and during her OB/GYN rotation, she fell in love with women's health. Dr. Limas enjoyed the satisfaction of improving the life of many women, spending time explaining their conditions, and ultimately having a great impact in each of the lives of the women and their families. The variety she found in the OB/GYN field gave her the opportunity to integrate surgery, preventive medicine, education to women plus experiencing the miracle of pregnancy and delivery. She stayed at the University for the residency program and completed the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences Specialty in 2013. She enjoys working in the Rio Grande Valley caring for women of all ages. Her medical interests include minimally invasive gynecological surgery and high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Limas enjoys dancing and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Limas has privileges at the following hospitals Doctors Hospital at Renaissance (Women's Hospital at Renaissance), Mission Regional Medical Center and Rio Grande Regional Hospital.

Biography: Dr. Wilson attended the University of Texas at Austin and then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1980. He then completed an OB/GYN residency at the University of Texas Southwestern at Parkland Memorial Hospital and has been in private practice in McAllen since 1984. He was a Clinical Associate Professor at UTHSC San Antonio from 2012-2017 and has been on the UTRGV Medical School Admissions Committee since its inception. In his role as the Medical Student Community Coordinator, he recruits and is the liaison for the Ob-Gyn community physicians who serve as preceptors for the medical students. He is a member of the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, the Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
