Biography: As a general obstetrician and gynecologist, I have the pleasure of providing care to women from adolescence to menopause. This includes preventive services, contraception and preconception counseling, basic infertility, high and low risk pregnancy care, treatment of abnormal menstrual cycles, and menopausal therapies. My practice style is conservative. When appropriate, I focus on the use of medications and minimally invasive procedures, such as IUDs, implants, hysteroscopy, endometrial ablations, or laparoscopy as first line treatment options. I believe strongly in the value of education and prevention. I feel it is important to listen to each individual's story, then guide and empower them with available knowledge and treatment options. I partner with patients to create the best care plan for their individual circumstances and beliefs. I enjoy what I call the science and "sleuthing" of medicine, but truly thrive in the long-term relationships I have been able to develop with my patients over time.

My area of expertise includes both obstetrics and gynecology with special interests in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, endometriosis, contraception counseling and management, and high-risk obstetrics. My practice philosophy revolves around patient-centered care and shared decision-making. It is important to me that patients feel like we are working together as a team during all aspects of their care.

Biography: I enjoy the balance of my office practice, obstetrical care and surgery, but I am especially interested in gynecological surgery and adolescent obstetrics and gynecology. I value the relationships I have with my patients through the exciting times, such as childbirth, and through the challenging times, like perimenopause or gynecological problems.
