Never met her before but she was very friendly and knew what she was talking about

She went through everything very thoroughly. What the different options are.

Dr. Tan is a great communicator, clearly explaining the surgical procedure and the why of her choices. She is highly knowledgeable, respectful, and compassionate. I am grateful she will be doing my surgery.

Dr. Tan took all the time to talk to me and explain everything in terms I understood. She kept asking if I had questions and let me know I could reach out to her at anytime. She was very knowledgeable and very loving.

Dr. Tan is a truly wonderful physician. I appreciate her professionalism. she made me feel comfortable and at ease with my exam. When discussing a plan of action, she was making direct eye contact with me. making me feel like she has my back no matter what the biopsies came back looking like. I need surgery for a large mass found during an exam. Dr. Tan had read my chart before being seen and was able to answer questions about surgical options.

Dr. Tan explained the test results and then asked if I had any questions. She did that throughout the time (about an hour) as she covered the different procedures. She made us feel that she was not in a rush, but genuinely cared about me. She was both professional and personable. My husband and I both felt confident and comfortable with her. I’m thankful that she will be walking with us through the surgery and the months ahead.

Dr. Tan was absolutely amazing, clearly a leader in her field and I’m so blessed to have her for my doctor and surgeon. She communicated all areas of the procedure, clearly and easy for me to understand.

I was sent to Dr. Tan to receive a second opinion and was incredibly impressed by her preparation and care. She had looked over my extensive cancer history and had FOUR pages of handwritten notes to herself to make sense of the situation. All of this was done before I arrived. Even though we had an hour together she apologized a couple of times for talking fast since she wanted to make sure to present all of the options available to me - as well as allow me plenty of time to ask any questions I had. And after the appointment she followed up with my original oncologist, another provider that she thought would be good to bring into the conversation, and had her nurse follow up with me in case I had any additional concerns. She was exceptional and I highly recommend her!

She was amazing. I have never in my 63 years had such a thorough explanation of a medical issue. She truly cared about me and my understanding of my cancer diagnosis. She explained everything from my ultrasound results, biopsy results, diagnosis, treatment plan and surgery. I am in great hands with her. So fortune to have found such a wonderful Dr.

Dr. Tan is a highly skilled and caring oncologist. She takes great care of patients whether it's surgical or an office visit. She takes the time to educate you on your diagnosis, treatment options and plans. Often including drawings to help you best understand. She also makes time to answer questions and takes care to validate your feelings and concerns while giving sound medical advice. I'm grateful to be under her care.

Dr. Tan took her time with me. She spent an hour explaining what was going to happen, how long recovery would take and any treatment that I would need after surgery.

She is so kind and caring and tries so hard to find anything that she thinks might help. Very empathetic, takes time to listen - even if you aren't talking about medical stuff, but just telling a story.
