Biography: Dr. Strand joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in August 2012. A specialist in Dermatology, she is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She received her medical degree from the University of North Dakota. She completed her residency at the UND Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck. Dr. Strand is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, Fellow (FAAD), the North Dakota Medical Association, and the Sixth District Medical Society. Her personal interests include golfing and travel.

Biography: Dr. Hamar joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 2014. A specialist in Family Medicine, he is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He received his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, AZ. He completed his residency at the University of North Dakota Center for Family Medicine. Dr. Hamar is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the National Golden Key Honor Society. Biography: Dr. Ryan Clauson joined Mid Dakota Clinic in May of 2018. He attended Medical School at the University of North Dakota where he also completed his Residency in Family Medicine. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has professional interests in chronic disease management and disease prevention and health management , providing personal comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. He also performs minor office-based procedures. Dr. Clauson is an Associate Professor for the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program. He is also a member of the North Dakota Medical Association, the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Sixth District Medical Society. Biography: Laura Fuerstenberg joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in February 1998. Her specialty is Dermatology and she is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her Master of Science degree from the University of North Dakota. Fuerstenberg is also a member of the American Nurses Association, the Dermatology Nurses Association, and the North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association.

Biography: Dr. Traxinger joined the Family Medicine department at Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in August 2011. A native of Minot, ND, Dr. Traxinger's interest in the medical field began with her work experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Trinity Nursing Home in Minot. She went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and forensic science from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa. Dr. Traxinger completed a family medicine residency at the UND Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck in 2011. Dr. Traxinger is certified in BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She is licensed to practice family medicine in the state of North Dakota.

Biography: Dr. Grenz joined Mid Dakota Clinic Primecare in July 2005. Prior to his affiliation with the Clinic, he practiced medicine and served as Chief of Medical Staff at Linton Medical Center in Linton, ND. Dr. Grenz also served as Medical Director of Hospice, the Emmons County Ambulance Service, Emmons County Public Health and the Strasburg Care Center. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine. A native of Bismarck, Dr. Grenz completed an undergraduate degree in Agriculture from North Dakota State University. Following the completion of graduate coursework in Animal Nutrition, also from North Dakota State University, he operated a 1200-acre grain farm from 1988-1993. Dr. Grenz went on to receive his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency in Fargo, North Dakota. A 4-year recipient of the National Health Service Corps Scholarship, Dr. Grenz was honored as Resident Teacher of the Year from 1999-2000. Dr. Grenz is a member of the North Dakota Medical Association, Christian Medical & Dental Society, and the American College of Physicians-ASIM. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Dakota.

Biography: Dr. Robert Tanous joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 1997. A native of California, Dr. Tanous received his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, where he graduated with honors. He completed his internal medicine residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Program in Phoenix, Arizona, and is board-certified in his specialty. Dr. Tanous has been listed in the ``Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges`` and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Student Association and American College of Physicians.Dr. Tanous is licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Dakota.

Biography: Dr. Erickstad joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 1983. Prior to joining Mid Dakota Clinic, he was Chief of the Family Practice Department at the U.S. Strategic Air Command Hospital at Grand Forks Air Force Base. A graduate of Bismarck High School, he received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of North Dakota. He completed his family practice residency at the UND Family Practice Center in Bismarck and became certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1979. In addition to his Family Medicine duties, Dr. Erickstad has pediatric and minor surgical privileges. He is board-certified in emergency medicine, a field he has specialized in for some years.Dr. Erickstad is licensed to practice medicine in both North Dakota and Minnesota.

Biography: Dr. Borrowman joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in August 2006. Prior to her affiliation with the Clinic, she was Instructor of Dermatology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Clinical Instructor in the Mayo Clinic Department of Dermatology and Senior Associate Consultant in the Department of Dermatology (Laboratory Division) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. A native of Indiana, Dr. Borrowman graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at Mayo Clinic. She is a Fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology.Board-certified in the specialties of dermatology and dermatopathology, Dr. Borrowman practices general dermatology and interprets skin biopsies at Gateway Dermatology. She is also an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at UND School of Medicie. Dr. Borrowman is licensed to practice medicine in the states of North Dakota, Minnesota, Florida and Arizona.

Biography: Dr. Hebert joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 2002, and is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He has a special interest in osteoporosis and serves on the board of the Mid Dakota Osteoporosis Center. A native of Mandan, ND, Dr. Hebert graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mary, where he earned the Leadership Award, was a member of the Kappa Gamma Pi National Honor Society, and was recognized as Outstanding Senior in the Math/Science Division. He attended the University of Minnesota, receiving a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology. Dr. Hebert received his medical degree from the University of North Dakota, attaining two scholarships and the Family Medicine Project Research Award. Dr. Hebert completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Veterans Affairs and MeritCare Hospitals in Fargo, ND, where he was selected as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and also received the Excellence in Research Award. He has co-authored several articles in peer reviewed medical journals and is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the UND School of Medicine where he was given the Dean's Recognition Award for his commitment to teaching medical students.Dr. Hebert is licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Dakota.

Biography: Jason Moe, MD joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in March 2011 in conjunction with the grand opening of the TODAY Clinic. A native of Bismarck, Dr. Moe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology with Honors from North Dakota State University. He went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks, graduating in the top twenty percent of his medical class. Dr. Moe completed his family practice residency at the UND Family Practice Center in Bismarck, and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Moe currently holds membership with the American Academy of Family Physicians and serves as a board member for the ND Academy of Family Physicians. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Dakota.

Biography: Dr. Scherr joined Mid Dakota Clinic in July 1993. He is board-certified in Family Medicine. A native of Bismarck, Dr. Scherr is a recipient of the Phi Beta Kappa award and graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Dakota, where he also received his medical degree in 1990. He completed his family practice residency in Bismarck at the UND Family Practice Center. He has served as staff physician at Medcenter One and St. Alexius hospitals in Bismarck and Heartview Foundation. Dr. Scherr is a a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and its North Dakota affiliate. He is a commercial pilot who is a Certified Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) by the FAA and a Certified Medical Review Officer for the ND Department of Transportation. He is licensed to practice medicine and the specialty of Family Medicine in North Dakota.
