His board certifications included: American Board of Surgery and American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Lin has participated in over 5000 heart operations. Since moving to San Diego, he had performed more than 2500 beating heart bypass surgeries without the need of heart lung machine. His surgical expertise include complex structural heart surgery, surgery for arrhythmia, surgery for great vessels, high risk coronary artery bypass, and thoracic surgery including lung cancer and video-assisted procedures.
