Biography: Jeffrey Abergel is a board-certified gastroenterologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group, Hudson Valley. He treats an array of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders but has a particular interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis). He performs upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, endoscopic retrograde cholangio pancreatography, and videocapsule endoscopy. After earning his medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine in Israel, Dr. Abergel completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He then completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Rutgers- Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine in New Jersey. Dr. Abergel was previously on faculty at Hofstra-Northwell School of Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital in New York. In 2015, Dr. Abergel was honored by the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America charity ``Take Steps`` Walk on Staten Island. Dr. Abergel has had his research published in medical journals and textbooks. Additionally, his work has beenpresented at national meetings of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Biography: Jessica Paige Harris, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. She is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal medicine and specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders of the digestive tract. Dr. Harris earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, completed her residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, and complete her Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Harris has been specializing in Colitis and Biliary Stones. She has served her community over the years and aims to continue treating patients with the best gastroenterology care possible. She is trained and experienced in all endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopy, polyp removal, and endoscopy (EGD). Dr. Harris is an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. She is accepting new patients at her Yorktown Heights office.
