Biography: We are happy to welcome Dr. Robert W. Pimentel to Premiere OB/GYN. Dr. Pimentel attended Medical School at UNPHU, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where he received his Doctorate in 1988. He completed his OB/GYN residency at Danbury Hospital, affiliated to Yale University, in Danbury, CT. At Danbury Hospital he served as Chief Resident. He practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Illinois/Iowa, Quad Cities for 25+ years where he served as Chief of the OB/GYN Departments for several years. He is passionate about taking care of his patients and he continues to expand his knowledge in the most current technologies. He enjoys taking care of High-Risk Pregnancies and providing his patients with the option of minimally invasive surgeries, including Robotics. Dr. Pimentel became Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2001. He is looking forward to continuing to provide his patients with high quality, and compassionate care.
