Care Philosophy: My motivation as a physician stems from my desire to help people, Sharing the journey to bring a healthy baby into the world brings great joy. However, I also see women dealing with difficult diagnoses or setbacks. Helping to ease the burden for those women and to find a cure, comfort or understanding is also very gratifying. I see some truly brave people who inspire me and teach me.

Biography: Dr. Kiersten Moreno is a board-certified OB/GYN at Independence Women's Clinic located in Independence, MO. Dr. Moreno is affiliated with Centerpoint Medical Center and Lafayette Regional Medical Center. Dr. Moreno provides all aspects of obstetrical and gynecological care. She specializes in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, including Da Vinci assisted robotic surgery. Dr. Moreno received a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science at the University of Texas at Austin and specialized in Clinical Microbiology before obtaining her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2012. She completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2016 and is Board Certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Care Philosophy: I always strive to do what is best for the patient, and I thoroughly enjoy developing relationships with each patient and her family. Each patient has a story to tell regarding her background, education, children and health concerns. I enjoy learning that story from each patient.
