After reading reviews, I decided that Dr. Swartzman would be my physician. This was my first pregnancy, but I was disappointed in the fact that she and her nurse Unique asked far more questions about my husband and why he didn't accompany me to every 10 minute visit, than they ever asked about my HEALTH. This lead to complications that ultimately caused a change of birth plan, which was fine. However, I cannot dismiss the 10 months of negligence. Next time I know not to put so much trust in my provider and will be a more proactive advocate for myself and my child.

I had been seeing Dr. Swartzman for a few years before becoming pregnant, so I knew her and felt like I could trust her. After our first ultra sound, the tech shared that there was a choroid plexus cyst on our baby's brain. I had never heard of such a thing and was terrified/upset. Afterward Dr. Swartzman asked why I was crying and that it was not a big deal, which left me feeling unheard and unsupported. I switched to a different doctor in the practice, but as luck would have it, Dr. Swartzman was on call and delivered my baby. She did an excellent job with delivery but I need better bedside manner as a pregnant mama. I probably will go elsewhere in the future for that reason.

I have been going to Dr. Swartzman since I was 18 and I am now a OB pt of her’s for the second time around and I absolutely love her and the way she has cared for me over the years. My family and I recently moved to the Missouri side and my husband refuses to go to any other OB so we will be making that trip but she is worth it and that speaks a lot about how amazing she truly is.

Very sweet MD. Just got reintroduced to her after becoming pregnant. She acted like she remembered me although it had been a few years. Was empathetic to our journey of becoming parents and listened to our questions and concerns. Excited to work with her moving forward as our OB!

Dr Swartzman is very patient and listens to your concerns. She is extremely knowledgeable and was wonderful with our high risk pregnancy. Would highly recommend her.

Dr. Swartzman is the best doctor I have ever had, OB/GYN or otherwise. This woman is extremely intelligent and a sensitive listener. I have been seeing Dr. Swartzman for 5 years and have had a consistently positive experience. The reason I'm writing this review now is that I am currently pregnant, and she has been a wonderful guide through the entire process. There were complications to consider prior to my becoming pregnant and she has displayed great knowledge and care every step of the way.
