Biography: Dr. Steven Vanni is a board-certified, fellowship trained neurosurgeon who specializes in complex spinal disorders. He originally trained as a chiropractor and has a unique understanding and appreciation for conditions of the spine. Dr. Vanni believes in patient-centered healthcare, and offers both non-surgical and surgical treatment options in his practice. He currently serves as the Director of Neurological Surgery for HCA East Florida's Broward Market and will serve as the Chief of Staff at the new hospital opening on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Fall of 2021.During the course of his career, Dr. Vanni has participated in numerous clinical research projects and published numerous papers and book chapters related to advances in neurosurgery.

Biography: Kavita Sharma, DO is board certified in both pain medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation. She earned her medical degree from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME and went on to complete a medical/surgical internship with Saint Michaels Medical Center, Newark, NJ. Dr. Sharma completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NYU School of Medicine Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, followed by fellowship training in the subspecialty of interventional pain management and spine disorders with Florida Spine Institute.Dr. Sharma is active in several professional associations including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Florida Academy of Pain Medicine, Florida Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Florida Osteopathic Medical Association. With her extensive and varied training, Dr. Sharma is able to offer patients a multi-faceted approach to chronic pain management. She enjoys the hands-on nature of interventional pain management and provides alternatives to opioid use or surgical intervention whenever possible for the management of chronic pain.
