Biography: Adam Green, MD is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic trauma including multi-extremity polytrauma, complex periarticular & periprosthetic fractures, musculoskeletal infections, and post-traumatic deformity reconstruction. A Louisiana native, he attended Louisiana State University where he was a member of the Honor's College. It was there he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then obtained a Master's degree in Medical Sciences at Mississippi College prior to attending medical school. In 2012, he began medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, graduating in the top of his class in 2016. Following his graduation from medical school in 2016, he moved to Dallas, Texas to start his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital/University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Throughout the course of his residency, he trained with many world-renowned orthopaedic surgeons at Parkland in trauma and joint reconstruction, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children & Children's Medical Center in pediatric orthopaedic trauma and spinal deformities, and attended a traveling orthopaedic fellowship at Auckland City Hospital in New Zealand. He concluded his training with the highest-volume orthopaedic trauma fellowship in the nation at Orlando Regional Medical Center. It was there that he honed his skills in complex polytrauma patient management, pelvis & acetabulum fracture care, deformity reconstruction, nonunion/malunion treatment, periprosthetic fractures and joint reconstruction including direct anterior hip replacement. Following his fellowship, he sought and obtained a job to be back DFW to continue caring for the population that he became so familiar with in residency. Dr. Green's passion is treating patients and getting them back to their pre-injury function. He believes that includes proper treatment of their orthopedic injuries, and also working with his patients to get through the mental and social struggles that can coincide with those injuries. Dr. Green enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his dog (Boogie the boxer). Some of his hobbies include weight training, skiing, and anything else outdoors.

Biography: Dr. Casas is the founder of Dallas Sarcoma Associates. Originally from El Paso, Texas, he received his degree in biology from Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He then trained for five years as an orthopaedic surgery resident at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and spent two years as a fellow of orthopaedic oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He pursued further training at the Istituti Ortopedici Rizzoli in Bologna, Italy and at the Hospital del Nio Jesus in Madrid, Spain. Prior to establishing Dallas Sarcoma Associates, Dr. Casas was an assistant professor of orthopaedics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Casas is an expert in limb salvage surgery. As such, he serves as a consultant to other physicians seeking such highly specialized care for their patients. Limb preservation surgery avoids the need for amputation and involves techniques across a range of medical specialties.Dr. Casas and his team specialize in treating bone and soft tissue sarcomas, cancer metastatic to the bone, and benign bone and soft tissue tumors. He has co-authored scientific papers on the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal tumors.

Outside of medicine he enjoys spending time with his wife Krystine, a local OB/GYN, his daughter Blaire and his French Bulldog Roxy. They enjoy traveling and finding new restaurants, watching college football and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
