Biography: Dr. Kim is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Division of Gynecologic Surgical Services. Dr. Kim graduated from Yale University and earned her medical degree from New York University. Following her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University, she completed an AAGL-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Chronic Pelvic Pain at the University of Michigan, also earning her Masters in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis. The fellowship provided Dr. Kim with specialized training and expertise in the field of advanced laparoscopy and robotics. Dr. Kim favors a minimally invasive approach to the care of her patients, understanding that this approach leads to faster recovery, less pain, shorter length of hospital stay, improved cosmesis, and greater patient satisfaction. In addition to providing routine gynecologic care, Dr. Kim specializes in gynecologic endoscopy, including robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and in the treatment of women with chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding and vulvar pain. Dr. Kim regularly presents at national and international conferences, and led the establishment of a laparoscopic training program in Ghana.

Biography: Dr. Feder is an experienced, board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with special interests in preconception counseling. Dr. Feder joins Weill Cornell Medicine's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology after 20 years as a senior faculty member at Mount Sinai West Hospital. She has held numerous leadership positions, such as the Director of Ambulatory Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai West, Medical Director of the Mount Sinai West Faculty Practice, and a member of the Mount Sinai West Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident Selection Committee and Executive Committee. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Feder received her bachelor's degree in history from Washington University in St. Louis in 1992. During her undergraduate career, she spent a year at King's College of the University of London studying history and English. She obtained her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1996. While in medical school, she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Feder received residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, then a teaching hospital of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, graduating in 2000. As a resident, she was recognized for teaching excellence by Columbia's medical students. Also during residency, she was a Galloway Fellow at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Cancer Center. In 2002, she was appointed Assistant Clinical Professorof Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, a position she held until 2013. Dr. Feder is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Biography: Dr. Tamar Reisman is a general endocrinologist with a commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality care for LGBTQ+ individuals. Her specific areas of expertise include transgender hormone therapy, sexual health throughout the lifespan, differences in sex development (DSD), and testosterone disorders. Dr. Reisman completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and her Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism fellowship at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine. She joins Weill Cornell Medicine from Mount Sinai's Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery (CTMS) and the Icahn School of Medicine where she served as Associate Program Director for the Endocrinology fellowship program.

Biography: Dr. Tirsit Asfaw is a Urogynecologist who specializes in the care of women with pelvic floor weakness resulting in conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse and bladder dysfunction. The network of pelvic structures which normally support a woman's uterus, bladder and rectum may weaken with progressing age, childbirth, obesity and other factors resulting in conditions such as cystocele, rectocele, uterine prolapse, urinary incontinence and bladder dysfunction.Dr. Asfaw offers comprehensive care for women with the above conditions. Her modes of treatment include robotic, abdominal, vaginal reconstructive surgery as well as medical and surgical treatment for urinary incontinence. She offers personalized treatment options that combine effective long term results with safe and quick recovery. Dr. Asfaw has an avid interest in clinical as well as basic science research and has presented her work at numerous national meetings and published in peer reviewed journals.Dr. Asfaw is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She received her undergraduate degree from Washington State University in Pullman, WA and her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. After completing her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at New York University, New York, NY she completed an accredited three year fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Asfaw holds dual appointments in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urology.

Biography: Leigh Rosen, MD, is a gynecological surgeon at RMA of New York. Dr. Rosen specializes in minimally invasive surgery and the laparoscopic, robotic, and hysteropic management of endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, polyps, uterine anomalies, and chronic pelvic pain. Dr. Rosen has distinguished herself as a clinician and researcher. She has presented numerous scientific papers at national meetings and has authored peer-reviewed publications on endometriosis, fibroids, and gynecological surgery. Dr. Rosen is an active member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and The Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.
