Dr. Eubanks was the first Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellow at Duke University, where he also served on the faculty for 10 years. Prior to joining Florida Hospital, he was Professor and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University of Missouri and served as the President of Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). Additionally, he has presented, published, developed patents, produced videos and has been awarded or recognized for an unprecedented amount of research in advanced, minimally-invasive surgery and upper gastrointestinal diseases.

After graduating from the University of California at Berkeley, Dr. Malit received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology. She went on to complete a general surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center where she achieved the rank of Chief Resident, and a colorectal surgery fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Malit is an active community volunteer and has contributed her musical talents to hospital events and charitable fundraisers as the lead singer of a band made up of medical colleagues.
