Biography: Dr. Wei Huang is an ophthalmologist who specializes in eye exams & routine eye care, glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic eye care in the Huntersville, NC area. She received her medical degree and doctorate from the Fourth Military Medical University in Xi'an, China. She did a glaucoma research fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard Medical School in 2006, and then had a second glaucoma fellowship at Duke Eye Center in 2014. Her internal medicine internship was at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and her ophthalmology residency at Duke Eye Center. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, and the Heed Ophthalmic Foundation.
