Biography: Richard Morgan, D.O., is a spine care physician at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Morgan earned his osteopathic medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami. As a physiatrist, Dr. Morgan focuses on providing rehabilitation treatment plans that help patients regain function and mobility. His clinical and research interests include diagnostic and interventional neuromuscular ultrasound, spasticity management and regenerative medicine. Dr. Morgans research has been published in medical journals, such as the Journal of Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Injury. He has also presented extensively at national medical meetings and is a member of American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Association of Academic Physiatrists and North American Spine Society. Biography: Matthew Ciminero, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in orthopedic trauma and adult reconstruction, at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care, part of Baptist Health. He is fluent in English and has basic proficiency in Spanish. Prior to joining Baptist Health in in 2022, Dr. Ciminero completed his orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. During his orthopaedic surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center, he served as the administrative chief resident and ran a COVID-19 intensive care unit during the initial peak wave of COVID in 2020. In 2022, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association asked him to join their new mental health task force to research and educate other surgeons about the psychological associations with musculoskeletal trauma. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association. Dr. Ciminero uses his Psychology background to provide holistic care for his patients beyond the physical ailment, as trauma affects everyone differently. Each patient requires a unique approach to help them overcome their injury in the best way possible. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Ciminero enjoys camping, nature photography, golf, travel, cooking and the Miami Heat.

I am a well-rounded surgeon with extensive experience in forefoot disease, arthritis, sports, trauma, and diabetes. I have a comprehensive approach to manage foot and ankle disorders and sport-related injuries with the goal of returning patients to their activities of choice.I have 8 years of experience in the military treating elite athletes and special forces patients, taking into consideration their unique goals and limitations with the aim of returning them quickly to high-impact sport. Using a combination of new devices, arthroscopic techniques and focused physical therapy, patients have an excellent opportunity to resolve their acute and chronic problems.As one of only 7% of female orthopaedic surgeons in the United States, I am also able to forge a distinct relationship with my lady patients as we treat their muscloskeletal disease. I offer a warm and friendly environment where bone, muscle, and joint disorders are managed within the setting of the many demands placed on women today.Finally, I am a proud product of the Cuban Diaspora with a deep respect for the elders of our community.
