She is on staff at both Memorial University Medical Center and St Josephs/Candler hospitals.Having breastfed all three of her children, Dr. Gheesling has a great passion for breastfeeding and in 2018 she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) so she could be better equipped to help her patients and their parents with breastfeeding.She is active in the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics where she is currently serving as District 13 representative and on the Breastfeeding Committee.
