Care Philosophy: Luv Hajirawala, MD is a board-certified General Surgeon with additional fellowship training in Colon and Rectal surgery. His specialties include, but are not limited to, the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, anal cancer, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, anorectal disease, gallbladder disease and hernias. He specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. He is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi and sees patients 18 and up. Dr. Hajirawala considers his patients his partners in the provision of their care. He strongly believes that patients should control their own medical care with the professional advice of a physician. His role in the clinic is to assist patients in understanding their disease process and establish the best treatment plan. In the operating room, his goal as a surgeon is to evaluate and apply state-of-the-art procedures, equipment and advances to achieve the best outcome. Dr. Hajirawala enjoys spending time outside of work with his wife and daughter, and being outdoors, whether on a hiking trail or at the beach.

Care Philosophy: Anthony V. DeIorio, Jr., MD is a board certified general surgeon with over two decades of experience providing general surgery care. He utilizes the latest techniques and procedures with minimally invasive approaches. He specializes in breast cancer and breast surgery, biliary and pancreatic surgery, and advanced laparoscopic surgery including colon surgery. Dr. DeIorio also provides general surgical care of the gallbladder, hernia, and intestine. Dr. DeIorio treats his patients with dignity and encourages his patients to be actively involved in their health care treatment. In his spare time he enjoys bike riding and wood working.

Biography: Dr. Ghalyaie is board certified and fellowship trained in colon and rectal surgery. She specializes in treating diseases and disorders of the colon, rectum and anus, including cancer and hereditary cancer syndromes, inflammatory bowel disease, and complex anorectal conditions. Fluent in English and Farsi, Dr. Ghalyaie performs an array of minimally invasive surgical procedures such as robotic surgery, laparoscopic surgery and transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM). She also is skilled in performing sphincter-preserving surgery for rectal malignancies and inflammatory bowel disease to avoid the need for a permanent colostomy.Dr. Ghalyaie completed medical school at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran before moving to the U.S. for internship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Her five years of residency training spanned three institutions: Baylor College of Medicine, The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, and Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Ghalyaie went on to complete colon and rectal surgery fellowship training at Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
