Biography: Dr. Mackey is a board certified surgeon specializing in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and completed his residency training in general surgery, as well as his hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. His primary interests are benign and malignant diseases of the liver, pancreas, biliary system and gastrointestinal tract. Dr. Mackey was named a Top Doc by Baltimore Magazine in 2010, 2011, and 2012 for Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery. He joined Christiana Care following positions as an attending surgeon at regional medical centers associated with integrated health care systems in Iowa. Dr. Giraldo is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Giraldo earned his medical degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and completed a general surgery residency at Instituto de Ciencias de La Salud, Medellin, Colombia. He also completed general surgery residency and fellowships in surgery critical care and acute care surgery at Christiana Care. Dr. Giraldo is a fellow of the American College of Surgery and member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Medical Association and Pan-American Trauma Society. Dr. Mindadze earned his medical degree from Moscow Institute of Medicine and Dentistry in Moscow, Russia. He completed his surgical training in general and vascular surgery at All-Union Scientific Center of Surgery of The USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, where he obtained Ph.D. degree. After moving to the USA he completed a residency in general surgery at Christiana Care Health System .
