Care Philosophy: Dr. Norman Abbott is a board certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist who has nearly 30 years experience practicing in the North Pinellas area. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Cardiology at Florida Hospital North Pinellas and is also a member of the Medical Executive Committee.

Biography: Robert Ferguson, MD, is a Board-Certified Thoracic Surgeon caringfor patients in Manatee, Sarasota, and Charlotte counties in Florida andsurrounding areas. Dr. Ferguson's expertise is in advanced robotic surgeryand special clinical interests in lung cancer, tumors of the mediastinum,tumors and injuries of the chest wall as well as complex infections of thechest and mediastinum.Dr. Ferguson earned his Medical Degree from Virginia CommonwealthUniversity and completed his residency at Medical College of Virginia Hospitals(Virginia Commonwealth University). He received his Fellowship trainingin Cardiothoracic Surgery from University of Texas Southwestern.
