Extremely likely
My sister has cerebral palsy and her medical care is often complicated. She was seen several times by Dr. Mishkin for her cardiac issues. He has always been kind, attentive, answered all of our questions and worked with us to find the right medical treatment for my sister’s cardiac conditions. His staff has been superb in their response to our calls and any questions we have had. Everyone in the MCVI group that we have encountered, including the front desk is professional, capable and exceeded our expectations. They even try to coordinate cardiac tests and appointments, when possible, to cut down on multiple trips. I highly recommend him and his staff.

First time visit
He was very attentive to my needs and I really liked him. Even had a couple laughs. He is so much more on top of things and concerned than my last cardiologist was. Totally like him.

Very poor patient concern.
After 5 minutes, Dr Mishkin told me to hurry up. He had other patients waiting. His nurse and scheduler never answers the phone. Her voice message says “Leave a detailed message and I will call you back at my convenience.” Twice she took over a week to call me back. I have been waiting all summer for cardiac clearance for shoulder surgery ( I tore my rotator cuff in May). I have heart problems so my cardiologist sent me for a heart catheterization which came back clean as a whistle and that my problem was electrical. They scheduled me to see their electrophysiologist 11 weeks later. I told her several times throughout the summer that I was waiting for surgery and I was waiting for heart clearance. Today after talking to the electrophysiologists office they told me that they do not give clearances for surgery, that’s up to Dr Mishkin’s office and that he could’ve given the clearance any time after the heart catheterization. They are basically only concerned with any blockage.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Mishkin several weeks in advance and just 2 hours before the appointment I get a call from the office saying that he doesn't come into the office on Friday's. Also, the next available appointment with him is not for another 5 weeks. I'm not sure why there system schedules appointments on Fridays if he doesn't come into the office or why they wait until the last minute to cancel. Also, Dr. Michael Mishkin might be a good Cardiologist but the group that suppor

Dr. Mike, as he likes to be called, was the on call Cardiologist at Bayfront St. Pete when I had a heart attack. He was very blunt and to the point while being compassionate and caring, we even shared a few laughs. Dr. Mike is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions while putting our minds at ease, which was not easy. We feel so blessed he was inadvertently chosen to be my cardiologist, I am keeping him as my doctor. He saved my life! Thank you Dr. Mike!
