Dr. Swami completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Swami completed her fellowship in Cardiology at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She is Board Certified in Cardiology. Dr. Vaishali Swami is the first Board Certified female Cardiologist in Horry County and she has been part of our local medical community since 1995.
