Care Philosophy: Dr. Wasserman&#8217s dream to be a doctor started early in life. She remembers watching her father go through medical training as a young child and loved the idea of spending each day helping people. With a father who was a doctor and a mother who was a nurse, she attributes both with having a strong and lasting impact on her life&#8217s path. &#8220They both built their lives around helping people,&#8221 noted Wasserman. &#8220They ended up instilling that same need to serve in all of their children.&#8221&#160When her younger sister was diagnosed with Crohn&#8217s disease while Dr. Wasserman was in college, gastroenterology became a personal focus. Not only did it include her interest in nutrition, but it also presented her with a specialty that would allow her to interact with patients in both an office setting and while performing procedures.&#160In her free time, Wasserman enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. They love relaxing at the lake and traveling around the beautiful state of Michigan.Being a gastroenterologist is not just a job for me &#173&#8211 it is a passion. In and out of the endoscopy suite, I strive to treat each of my patients as individuals, helping them to achieve their best personal outcome. Care Philosophy: ``Kasey Keene has been practicing as a physician assistant since 2013. After graduating from PA school, she worked in cosmetic dermatology as well as providing community education at CVS free health screenings. Kasey joined the UCNT team in 2014 and sees patients for all urological problems and assists the doctors in surgery.``

Care Philosophy: Marika Alois, MD is a faculty member within the division of general internal medicine,??serving as a physician for both integrative medicine and internal medicine for primary care services. Dr. Alois received her medical degree from Georgetown University, during which she served as an intern at The Center for Mind-Body Medicine. She then went on to complete her residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in family medicine and her fellowship training in integrative medicine.

Biography: Dr. Grant Taylor received his bachelor's degree from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. Dr. Taylor completed his general surgery residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa.Dr. Taylor is board certified in general surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Cobb County Medical Society.Dr. Taylor currently is in practice with Wellstar Douglas Surgical Associates.
