Cindy
He was very professional and explained everything to my husband. He had 3 hernia’s repaired. He does have a dry sense of humor, but most good doctors do. If I ever needed a general surgeon I would definitely use him.

Dr. Mac has a terrible bedside manner, but I have used him for multiple cancer surgeries and he is by far the best surgeon around. He was able to save 3 of my colon so I would not have to live with an ostomy bag with stage 4 colon cancer. He removed my thyroid gland (cancer) and it is nearly impossible to see the scar. You just have to know how to talk to this guy, he really is concerned about his patients but you have to dig deep to get to know him. I would use NO ONE else.

Dr.McElhannon was my sons doctor. He had a ruptured appendix and Dr.McElhannon was the surgeon that was given to us in the E.R.I had absolutely no problems with him.He told us what was going on and what to expect. He was perfect in my opinion. He knew what he was doing and I thank him for helping my son.As for the follow-up visit, it was the same.Staff was nice and we were seen quickly by him again.Nothing but compliments from me for Dr.McElhannon.

I'm thirty years old and have seen countless doctors into lifetime and Dr. Rembert McElhannon was the rudest, disrespectful Dr I have ever seen. He was not at all concerned about checking to see if my wounds healed and when I referred to my wounds as cuts he rudely snapped ate saying they are not cuts they are called incisions!!!! I do not see how h correcting my wording in such a hostile way that I was speechless. He had no interest In my concerns. I cried. He made me feel unimportant.
