Dr Stefanou received her MD degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan, and she completed a Residency in General Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr Stefanou then completed a Colon and Rectal Surgery Residency Training Program at Cook County Hospital/University of Illinois, Chicago.

Dr Zemp's clinical focus is management of urologic malignancies including kidney, bladder, prostate, and testis cancer. His research interests focus on improving post-operative surgical care and the patient experience with those who have undergone major abdominal/pelvic operations, specifically radical cystectomy, using patient-reported outcomes and biometric data.
